All you need to have is a LinkedIn Account with your company page. Anyone can discover, read, and share your LinkedIn newsletter. LinkedIn members can also subscribe to it.

Let’s get started with creating a newsletter on LinkedIn To create a newsletter on LinkedIn:

  • Go to your LinkedIn Homepage. Click on the option ‘Write an article. It is available on the top right side of the homepage. This takes you to the publishing tool.

  • Here you will see a highlighted option with ‘Create a newsletter’.

  • You must be having proper content for the newsletter. Along with the content, you have to add a title, description, publishing cadence, and logo. It will be a symbol of your company and you are using it for brand awareness.

  • Finally, click Done.

Note: You should avoid using emojis in professional newsletters. It might give out a wrong impression of your brand or company.

  • When you have completed the newsletter, you will be able to locate it in the upper right corner of the page. You will see the title of the newsletter. If you are unable to get the title of the newsletter in the upper right corner click on the dropdown menu and select the newsletter you want to write in.

  • You can now write the first article for your newsletter.

  • You have the flexibility to publish multiple newsletters. But make sure, you will be able to post or publish up to one article every 24 hours.

  • Once the article is ready to be published, click Publish at the top of the screen.

Before you final publish the content, you will see a pop-up window. Here you will be able to add comments to the specific newsletter article. Through the comment, you can mention what the newsletter is all about. You can also add different hashtags or @mentions. When you click Post, your newsletter will also be shared in the feed.

After clicking on Publish, you will get an overview of the newsletter with all the profile information. You can use your newsletter page to provide a preview of your newsletter and share it on or off LinkedIn to increase your reach. You do not have to be logged in to view the page but members must log in to subscribe or share it on LinkedIn.

  • Easy sharing of the newsletter on social media channels. If you want to attract more customers and drive traffic, share the newsletter on social media.
  • By default, your connections and followers will be invited by notification to subscribe to your newsletter once the first article of your newsletter has been successfully published. Subscribing means they’ll receive a notification and email when you write a new newsletter article.
